Does Samsung use Android ?

But the point was you said you wouldn't use limiting to 80% because the battery may run out . I'm just saying it would be pretty good if Apple gave that option (a choice) on how to use the phone.

What does Apple have to do with Android?

What are you talking about ?

Don't you read posts before you reply, Dolly? Try reading my post again and then reply to it properly (this time).

I'm not really sure what you want me to say or do ?
You don't have ther option - that's great ? Or not ? Hooray ?
And if you did - you wouldn't use it?

Must I cheer for you , or ... ?

I want you to answer the question, so we know if you're talking sense or just spouting bullshit again.

Why are you the way you are ?

I don't believe that latest iOS 'supports every device for the last 5 years' ... and I don't beleive that 'the only limiting factor is hardware' . However, do believe that Apple is - like most companies - creatiing a gap between their older and newer devices in order to get you to buy the latest device . The iPhone isn't the only limited phone either, as the Apple TV is also software limited .

I also feel that choice to leave out Always On on the iPhone 13 Pro because of hardware that affected battery life is BS - especially as they don't have the same battery limiting has the iPhone 15. If they are so worried about the battery, then add the feature? And maybr give me the choice to use Always On - or not? I feel that it was really stupid to even bother adding in Standby into the iPhone 13 Pro, condering that without Always On is really stupid. If they excluded Always On because of the battery - why exclude Standby when it's charging?

If you disagree and feel that everything is just magical & planned - then great. I'm really happy for you - but most people don't look at the above and say BS! Troll! Liar! Ban him! unless , well, they're part of the Apple family / culy

And @Dave Not once have I said I hate the phone - within months I I got myself two iPhones, an old Mac Mini an Apple TV. I've had iPods and iPads in the day. Plus, I used every bit of Apple software long term to try it out . I'm more than (overall) happy with the phone - but I'm not going to pretend that certain things don't annoy me, turn a blind eye to everything, defend every choice Apple make or pretend everything is magical .

I think the OTT users piss me off more than anything

Lol keep telling yourself that.

How’s everyone finding the battery life on the 15 pro max? First full day and I’m at 20% now after taking off charger at 6.40am. Hoping it’s going to improve. Definitely feel some odd heat next to the camera module every now and again. But nothing serious. Yet.

Pretty interesting that there don’t seem to be many forum members actually posting about their iPhone 15 … I think a lot are in my boat and we all got the iPhone 14 last year on three year contracts. See y’all for iPhone 17! #Team2025

Interesting rant, but why are you telling me?

I actually bought my 14 Pro outright last year (I always do), however the differences aren't really enough to make me want to buy again this year.

I got mine cash but am still on the fence - on the one hand now is the best time to cash in on a trade-in, on the other, I'm not convinced that the improvements are enough to warrant the outlay (I went from a 12 to a 14Pro last year).

Another reason for waiting is I still want to see just how tough the titanium frame will be, I've seen Watch Ultras that look terrible after less than a year while both my 3 year old stainless steel Watch and 1 year old stainless steel iPhone both still look pristine.

My phone lives in a case from the time it's taken out of the box so I'm not worried about that.

Although I'm not a clumsy person, I have dropped my phone enough times to be eternally grateful that my phone is in a case.
