Not really sure but bought a unit from Incredible and it arrived morning of the launch 20 September. This is just PPP (PISS POOR PLANNNG).

UPDATE: lol just checked my order and it has movement .

The time doesn’t even bother me, it’s the complete lack of communication that does.

And usually I’ve enjoyed Makro. My Xbox Series X was also pre-ordered with them and I simply rocked up on the day and collected.

Usually in stock stuff gets to me faster than Takealot.

But this time on a big deal item it’s no communication from their side and dead end email address and Twitters.

And I would have said maybe it’s the colour or something but it sounds like absolutely no one has received a Makro order.

Hate the capture button. gets un the way of my typing grip and does what my fingers have been doing faster for a decade. Other than that the battery life is good and it works as it should. I did have an issue with the camera app crashing but since a restart of my phone it seems to have been fine.

So I got mine pretty much on launch day... so been using it for a while.

I've experienced substantial bugs/problems (software is updated as and when available).

Biggest issues with my iPhone 16 Pro 256GB:
Camera app crashes 80% of the time (with or without the side button, but definitely worse with the side button)
Requires a phone reboot each time - so basically I've taken only a handful of photos and no videos since buying it, hence I cannot gauge the quality of the new cameras.
Gets extremely hot and slow on occasions - seems to be randomly doing stuff in the background (even with all apps closed)
Gets very hot when charging (even with case off - via cable or wirelessly)
Battery life never lasts a full day - and I would not say I'm using it heavily (old 14 Pro Max was bigger, but lasted much longer)
All in all, can't wait to get past iOS 18.01 - being an early adopter is always a pain, but then I did get a good pre-order price and didn't have to struggle waiting for stock, 1st world problems.

I’m in supply chain planning and if this happened on my watch regardless of how popular the product was, my head would be on the floor!

Makro Online has always been an issue but a year or two ago they seemed to be clearing up their act. Judging from this I would say fire the entire lot!

At one point I had one of the “customer care” agents on the line with what sounded like a baby on her lap crying. Another one with his dog barking in the background that he couldn’t get to shut up.. An absolute clown show!
 
Just got notification from Courier Guy. My Makro order out for delivery. Anyone else?

Absolutely stunning. Their camera cutout implementation is really good and it works. The apple silicone I found myself hitting the button always when picking it up. The native union a little difficult to use that button. This for me is the end game case.

Only one niggle. The screen protector almost flush with the lip on this case

EDIT: the lip on the case is a unique design, on the bottom part of the phone the lip is straight and flush with the screenprotector making swiping up a very smooth movement. The lip on both edges and on top is bevelled away at an angle and is slightly lifted fromt the screenprotector. Albeit very slightly like 0.5mm. so you can put this face down

The amount and severity of issues you are experiencing is worrying and it's on official (non Beta) firmware..
Have you tried resetting it and doing it as a new setup from scratch? The extreme heat is never a good thing for most electronics and can impact longevity negatively.

I had the heat issue on my 14 once and wiping it and setting it up anew sorted that part at least.

That sucks man, it just seems like they're really losing their way in terms of being a product that 'just works' by rushing an unfinished package to the market. I'm only a week in of using the device and the only upgrade I've noticed so far from my old device (iPhone 12 mini) is the size and battery life. I do hope that the next update does resolve the camera bugs and gets more positive feedback from the overall userbase. I also feel like they need to settle on limiting the number of device SKU's they put out because I do feel that is also playing a part in these issues.

I've been dreading the prospect of having to do this... so many apps, so many settings, so much of our lives depends on 2FA via our cellphone apps... urgh!

I've also experimented with 3 different cases, the latest one covers the back and top/bottom and edges, very thin plastic. With the sides completely exposed - very minimalist, in an attempt to help with heat dissipation. Only protects against scratches.

Move on over to Apple Passwords. All my 2FA codes are backed up on iCloud and a reset won't affect it one bit.
 
So The Courier Guy dropped off my phone about an hour ago. Probably one of the most underwhelming iPhone purchases ever. As expected the charger we were told we would be getting for the absolute balls up, is missing. Never again!

truth is my hands are rough as **** ... been painitng and doing lots of fixa-ups at home. "hand lotion", a thing that was created in 3000BCE. Must try it sometimes ... jou hande sal lyk net so mooi soos meine
