Look at my post here: Where to buy unlocked iPhone 3G S in the USA?. These guys claim they have the iPhone 3G S in stock for R4500 (16GB) and R5500 (32GB)!

So do the maths of the R10 - $1 conversion ratio, and the prices will probably be about

R5k for 8GB, R6k for 16GB and R7k for the 32GB.... give or take R1k...

That site with its like unlocked for whatever price.... My guess is thats not so "official"

Maybe a Vodacom representative can give us some info on the date the 3GS is coming to SA.

I have been to about ten Vodashops, not one knew when it is coming in fact, most of them I first had to explain that the 3GS is a new version. "No, not the 3G"!

I can upgrade my contract now, but Vodacom is not giving me ANY help. Does anyone know?
