Hey Guys

So im undecided of which of the two phones to get
which one would you guys say is the better of the two?

Well, you can get the Samsung. Or you can get the phone every smartphone is still compared against. For a reason...

Wait a little bit and get the S2. It is arriving soon and will run rings around the iphone. Plus you have access to the full android app store from today.

the thing is i need to upgrade now :S
so which is better at this exact moment?

Don't confuse good marketing with a good phone. Most of the people I know who have iphones like them cause they are popular and cool and people still line up over night to get one.

I pick my smartphone based on specs and os not hype.

with quality of iphne4 u also get quality in apps store, or jus wait for iphon 5

I am thinking samsung but i hear the build quality sucks and it breaks easily

Galaxy S vs the iphone 4. Get the galaxy s.

Galaxy s2 vs the iphone 4. In a league of its own. A different galaxy by some accounts.

Truer words could not have been spoken better... :)

iPhone 4 in my opinion

IOS is simple and easy to use
Apples app store has a better range of apps and more quality apps when compared to Android

How long is a piece of string....you can do 1 of 2 things

needs assessment and buy to suit..
buy on emotion and live with regret..

so what is it going to be?

Would say rather get the galaxy i prefer this phone and love samsung in general, the iphone is also pretty decent in its own ways. All comes down to personal preference

That's a load of crap. Owned my Galaxy S for nearly a year, it's survived drops that would destroy the iPhone 4's weak glass casing.

I'd recommend you try to get a Galaxy S 2. You can import one for a reasonable price from the UK, or wait a couple months for it to come out here.
Galaxy S and iPhone 4 are outdated already :D Not that I'm unhappy being stuck with my Galaxy S :)

iPhone 4. It's got a better camera (the best), and a more responsive OS, in my opinion.

lol... Apple followers make me laugh. It's like a cult.

It you want to be stuck with a brand that says:
- can't use Adobe anything
- 30% skimmed off the sale of you paid apps
- you can't do this, you can't do that, blah blah
- limited to connecting to iTunes to get apps etc

Go with Apple... Companies are closing thier doors because of Apples subscriptions.

Example: iFlowReader

If you want a device thats OS is based on Linux, which means you can change just about anything you very well please, go with Android.

- Open Source !!!
- only 5% once off fee for paid apps
- Abode Flash support
- several custom ROMs to install for numerous devices if you don't like the firmware that comes with your phone.
e.g. CyanogenMod/
- install apps straight from android market in chrome without needing to connect with a cable to your PC. Gets sent straight to your phone.

I have a Google Nexus S (UK edition) and have 3 friends with iPhone 3 and 4. No comparison. The google services built in are awesome. Sync'ing to Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Picasa Web Albums, you name it.

Do I need to continue?
