iPhone 4 - Stock Availability - Vodacom

Phoned them this afternoon... I was informed they have stock and it should have been shipped out at the end of the day. SERIOUSLY hope it gets here tomorrow.
Been waiting since the beginning of the month for them to wake up...

I've also taken this poor service by Vodacom up with Apple in the US... Let's hope it helps a little for others.
Vodacom is certainly not living up to the quality & service Apple is known for in the rest of the world

sigh, and i e-mailed somone yesterday aswell he told me no stock yet, let me e-mail him again and hear whats going on because i cant wait anymore..
 
sigh, just talked to the guy at Tygervalley - Cape Town Vodashop 3G and still no stock received ;/

I'm sure Vodacom is trying all they can to get stock as it hurts them most by not selling more iPhones. Foxconn can't make 'em fast enough and we in SA are not a priority market so I can't see Apple doing anything with your e-mail.

I called Vodacom, still no stock
 
Just called vodacom to found the status of my iPhone 4 that was sended for repairs, they told me they have sended a replacement phone from JHB yesterday and should arrive here on monday/tuesday
 
Vodacom seems to have long leadtimes on Iphones. Ordered my Iphone 4 last week Friday and collected the following tuesday. No hassles. Using MTN.
 
Got my replacement phone yesterday afternoon... The guys at Vodacare was seriously surprised how I managed to get a replacement.
The phone arrived unboxed.... but brand new at least

There is something fishy going on with Vodacom & their iPhone supply....
 
I order my iphone from digicape and im on a waiting list of about 60 people luckily im number 35, but still there is no new stock coming in for about 3 weeks already:mad:
 
Seriously guys, buy the latest iPod Touch to get/retain the Apple experience and get another phone (Android, BlackBerry, N8) that can do what the iPhone does for less. The latest Touch is a WiPhone for all practical purposes and can handle all the apps (except those requiring GPS). Such a combiantion will give you the best of two worlds for the price of an iPhone.

Go to Pavillion and try Cellular City (16gb R7500)..Nashu Mobile (16gb R7500)..Autopage Cellular (16gb R8500)
I bought mine couple days back from Nashu Mobile.. They all vodacom stock :)
The Actuall Vodashop is a big big RIP-OFF..

N.B Only Durban has stock lol :-P

Received my replacement iPhone 4 yesterday :) still working strong, after waiting 20days ;/ my other iPhone 4 had "No Service" problems.

Glad you got yours... Still fuming somewhat because of the BAD service provided by Vodacom

that's just bulls*** !!

so the rest of the people must wait inevitably. Vodacom's launch of the iPhone 4 is the biggest FAIL of the year + they are still advertising a product of which they don't have any stock - USELESS!!!!
 
For those waiting, the iPhone 5 might be out by the time you get your handset. :p (what a joke when it comes to stock availability)
