Sadly mine is due on 9th October and I leave for holiday overseas on 7th - damn. (Oh and there is no stock in the places I am going otherwise would think of getting over there cheaper)
 
You can upgrade 7 days before your official upgrade date :) so 9th of Oct means you can upgrade on the 2nd, 5 days before you leave :)

Ahh cool !!! I thought it was only the 2 months before the end of the 24month that applied. My 24 month date is around 9 Dec, so 2 months before that makes it 9 Oct which Customer Care 111 told me. Do you mean you can upgrade 7 days before the 22nd month? Now all I wanna know is pricing.

If you send a sms to 31050 with "UG" as the message it will send you the official upgrade date back, take 7 days off that date for the actual date :)

I am very high up on the waiting list at Cellucity so i just hope that they will keep one for me until Sunday otherwise i have to take out another contract, apparently they only expecting the next batch of stock 2 - 3 weeks later.
 
Can someone please tell me what the hype of the Iphone is... I really fail to see what the point of the phone's hype is.

I use an N97 (which in my opinion was a million times better than the Iphone 3G), and a Blackberry... The N97 was is just nonsense, and my Blackberry is the best business application by far. Please make me understand, so I can share in the excitement.

Not being nasty, just that I see so many people going on about it...

Just find a friend with one and play around on it for an hour - then you'll see ;)
 
I see MTN has released a list of where the iPhone 4 will be available. Any similar news from Vodacom?

There is an itch I have to scratch with this release!

Looks like it will only be at Vodaworld. I've contacted most of the Vodashops in Gauteng and they all say it will only be available at Vodaworld and the rest will only receive stock later in the month.
