iPhone 4 to arrive mid August

I can't believe still a month to go...This is honestly killing me... The waiting!

And my current iPhone has now died :(
 
Got my iPhone 4 on Sunday!!!! Oh my word!!! This thing is sooooooo schweet!!! Loving it :)
 
mtn is releasing their price list tomorrow. will finally be able to decide on my upgrade. njoy RB.

Do you have any conformation that the iPhone will be on there? The press release I saw only said "in the coming month"

no confirmation :( . Correspondence said stock to be received in September. Surely they would have done their packages before ordering the damn phones! FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Hi k singh can u confirm that there is no attena pronlem on iphone 4 on mtn i qm ordering one from ebay today any other info will be appreciated thx
 
Any news in the mtn prices if its like R2500 payin on a monthly fee if R500 then i am buying off ebay

there is an antenna problem. read anandtech's review of the problem. i am no iPhone boffin, but it seems the problem was exxagerated.

got the mtn pricelist today and there is no iPhone 4 listed.
 
Thx have u personally had droped calls on your iphone 4. If u dont mind me asking how did u get one in sa and how much did it cost this will help me to source one from ebay and import. Thx appreciate the help

Be VERY careful of getting one off eBay. Most on eBay are from the States and they are locked!!! Better to get one from Hong Kong / Canada / UK / Australia - the Apple Store in those countries sell them unlocked. I'm actually in Aus at the moment - got mine here :)

Had my first Skype call today. Actually forgot that my Skype was working in the background with Apple's new voip API. A friend called me from SA - quality was soooooo amazing - think it might be using Skypes new Wide-Band codec :)

Been using my new iPhone 4 for about 4 days now and been having no signal problems whatsoever. I do have a Speck case on it though - didn't want to scratch my new baby ;)

does that stop the merging of the two antennae as well as prevent both the front and rear glass from getting chipped on the sides?
 
Getting unlocked jaulbroken week 27 model for $850. What u guys think? rapidblue what is the first four digits if your serial number that will tell me what week is yours apparently apple fuxwd the issue from week 32 i think

Covers the antennas on the side with a raised lip (like a bumper basically) and an awesome patterned cloth texture on the back. So yip, you don't touch the antenna or chip the glass :) At first didn't want this type of cover (usually like using my phones naked) but this case has really grown on me - soooo stylish :D
