iPhone 4 with iOS7 - Yay OR Nay ? Any Issues ?

i have a iPhone 4 and still on V6.
is it advisable to update yo iOS 7 ?
will it run slow with new OS?
anyone done the update on iPhone4 and how does the phone run / any issues?

I bought my iPhone 4 from the MTN special, its been running iOS7. It is my first iPhone so I cannot compare the OS speeds but the phone does lag. I downloaded Cal.AnyDo app today and the apps struggles badly to run and I find myself having to close all the apps for it to work properly.

I think it depends on what you use the phone for. I only use it to play music/work emails/facebook and twitter so I don't mid the lag. I use my Z10 as a daily driver.

got my other phone as my primary cell for work.

There are a few quick tweaks that will make it run pretty fast on the 4 without a problem.

For what it is worth, I hate my iPad2 even more now. Constant crashes and crap.


Nobody in the office with an iPhone has complained yet though.

I have an iPad 2 and I haven't had any issues apart from Magic 2014 but that's a problem with the ****ty App and money hungry developers not Apple.

currently the iPhone4 runs pretty quick with iOS6.
2 minds from upgrading coz if its slow then will regret it.

I've got my iPhone 4 running iOS 7.0.4 at the moment and it runs fine.

There is a lag sometimes with the PIN number and a few apps that take a bit too long to open compared to iOS 6, But overall I'm glad that I upgraded.

The 'Block Caller' alone is worth it.

There's a pretty big toll on performance with the iPhone4. I've updated 2 phones on it so far and both suffered lag. It's not unusable but if you value speed rather stick with 6.
