Same here. I just wish I knew whether Vodacom will "allow" upgrades. So far they have been really unfair about it and are reserving the "1000 phones in the country" (the words of a rep) for new subscribers.

Me? I'm not planning to queue as I will be first at the store closest to me. :D

thats pretty much every store they have.
also i phone one of them and they said monday...
so yeah...

I phoned 2. One had no idea when he's receiving stock, but has a waiting list of 100 people (which it sounds like they will still honour). One let me know that Vodacom has issued them with ANOTHER update saying there won't be stock for Friday and that all physical stock will be at Vodaworld for the launch.

Sheesh, Vodacom handled this one bad!

Not as bad as MTN. MTN hasn't called on pre-registrations, only send SMS'es to say to go to the store. Vodacom has launched their pricing and stores, but MTN is still quite. Vodacom's marketing and events planning is currently running ahead in the game, which doesn't say much.

I don't know. Vodacom kinda over-promised and is under-delivering. MTN is not promising anything?

Since I got my iPad from FNB I've hardly touched my SGS phone so I don't think an iPhone is that high on my shopping list.

So many shops and so little stock. I have an idea that most of these stores will have jaw ache from saying to customers "sorry sir you are too late"

Get there early!

Just spoke to a Vodacom rep. NO STOCK - phone back on Monday.

What exactly is going to be in stores tomorrow???

Queuing at Vodaworld. Not as many peeps as I had anticipated. Round 150 by my count.
