iPhone 5

hi guys,

a mate of mine bought an iPhone 5 yesterday and asked me if I know of an app that blocks calls or prevents the phone from even ringing? as I'm not an iphone user I thought I'd ask you guys for help?

is there a blocking app available for the iPhone 5?

Also the switch on the side turns on/off silent mode.... Phone will not ring

Not if on setting you turned off "vibrate on silent". This way you can switch from silent to normal with the flick of a switch literally.

I think what he is looking for a call blocking app that permanently blocks calls and does not ring / vibrate / flash or even show a missed call on the screen when a blocked call - calls.

as I said have not seen the phone or ever dealt with an iphone so I don't know whats out there for an iphone.

However, the latest iOS cannot be jailbroken at the moment (iOS 6.1.3/4 )
More than likely, his friend's iPhone has this verion of iOS on it - so JB is not an option for now.

Traffic, supper and letting phone charge first. Not good to be halfway through a jailbreak and the phone dies
