iphone 6 bending defect

Btw, did Apple make a statement on this issue or are they still thinking how to approach this matter?

Usually they blame the consumer, as with iPhone 4 radio (signal) debacle, that users was holding their phones wrong.

Snip:

Here's the official statement:

Gripping any mobile phone will result in some attenuation of its antenna performance, with certain places being worse than others depending on the placement of the antennas. This is a fact of life for every wireless phone. If you ever experience this on your iPhone 4, avoid gripping it in the lower left corner in a way that covers both sides of the black strip in the metal band, or simply use one of many available cases.

Why don't they just take it back & cancel the contract.

Damn, who would've thought that Samsung have better build quality than Apple?

People bitch about the plastic, but it's way more durable than metal and glass - that's not to say that plastic is more premium - just more flexible.

Ya well, with Apple, at least you are getting a Premium(tm) bend, not some common-or-garden skewing of the chassis.

/waits for Apple patent on "aluminum" bending of phone chassis

Luckily their testing doesn't include a TTT - tight trouser test.

Man that 6 plus is massive!!
Pretty convinced I'll be getting the 6 rather.

seems like a case of a massive phone put in the small pockets of fat people.

I don't know how you expect a phone that size to go damage free in a front pocket?
