iPhone 6 or 6 plus?

Ye got the 6 today.. Thought I would take the 6+ at 1st but it just felt too big and clunky. 6 is nice though it's taking a little adjustment from the 5..

I agree, after using both devices; I am going for the 6.

... I'm giving Apple a go again after so many years ... I won't lie I held one in my hand and loved it ... Now to see if I love the innards of this ... So far battery life is awesome. I can type on this keyboard with little errors ... The Eco system I'm waiting for it to p me off ... But so far so good

Not to worry, plenty of peaceful iDevice users around here to help you out.

The keyboard is the thing I miss from iPhone the most. Swiftkey is a big overrated turd.

I always had swift key on my android devices and I still managed to type like I had an iq deficiency problem ... The keyboard on Apple can't be beat. I guess it's the small things Apple do right. I intuitively think a certain option or setting needs to be in a certain place on the phones UI, or if I swipe left it will allow me to delete ... And yes it's there, just where I'd expect to find things. Example, the Sony z2 had this green light that came on when fully charged (quite bright) and a little annoying if you have it by your bed side ... Its small and not a deal breaker but It's these small little frustrations that Apple seems to have thought about (don't disturb option)

Phone has been in pretty solid use since 7h30am and 51% battery left.

I ordered a iloome tempered glass and then realized the post office mess

Need a slim fit clear case for the phone . Anyone know where to find one for the iPhone 6 plus. Like a 0.4mm or 0.5mm case

+1 on this post.

I guess it's what you're used to and what you have honed your typing skills on. Any new keyboard needs time to get used to and after using SwiftKey on Android for so long I struggle on anything else.

I put it on my 5S though and it is kinda sucky. Again, it needs an investment of time and most iOS peeps are skilled and comfortable using the Apple keyboard so why change?

huh?

If you're awake, you can just unplug the phone, if you're asleep you won't know it's on.

How is this a problem?

How else would you like to be notified that the battery is full?

Put some blu-tak over the light to dim it and hook up one of these.

Had a dock ... Before sleeping dock the phone when charged green light came on ,annoyed the crap out of the wife ... Just no way to turn it off ... It's a small niggle, but an option to turn off all notification lights would have been nice ... Small things ... Apple on the other hand has this do not disturb feature which can be set between certain times ... Make no mistake loved the Sony z2 but just trying to point out the small things Apple notice and implement that other manufacturers can sometimes miss out

I've been using Swiftkey for months now and I still don't like it. Its recognition of words in swipe mode is abysmal.

Orange store has some apple original covers for both plus and hobbit versions of the iPhone 6. Bought a leather product red case ... Pricey but I'd rather pay R670 odd for this instead of R400 for some of the nonsense being sold in stores

Got phone (iPhone 6 128GB Space Gray) yesterday and is already jailbroken, this is an amazing phone!

Quick question regarding screen protectors for iPhone 6:

Do you also find that the current screen protectors available for iPhone 6 are a tad too small?

It does not appear to fully cover the edges.

Is this due to the curved edge? Or just poor quality screen protectors?

You need your ID only. They have a system linked to FNB, pulls all your details when applying. After applying, you will get an sms approving your application. Then go back to the store to collect the phone, I would advise you ask the person assisting you to check if they have stock of the device you looking for before applying.

I applied on Saturday, lady said there was stock. After about 10 minutes after applying I got an sms from FNB, went back to the store, I was told, there was no stock for the device I ordered, lady forgot to check stock. Now I am patiently waiting for them to contact me for collection as soon as they receive stock. I was promised Thursday afternoon.

Just a quick question on the FNB option.
Is this the same deal they have online under smart devices.
Can you actually go to the istore and apply for an FNB smart device for the same price they have on the FNB site or si it a contract itself?

Design of the phone. No doubt you will get some guys pushing the envelope of what is possible before you start seeing problems with protector not adhering to phone properly. My Bodyglove tempered glass protector could defiantly cover a bit more real estate on the screen.

I bought R69 bodyglove protectors (2) and thought that because of the price, I got what I paid for (cheap stuff I thought)
Then I got one with a case, and it seems to be 1 mm wider than the bodyglove, thus 0.5mm more on both sides, but still not sufficient.

Yes identical. You can also go to the DotFNB stores if there is one in your area. I personally applied online as there is no stock anywhere at local branches so hopefully they have at the warehouse or something. We shall see. Still waiting to hear back from them
