Got the 6+ on Monday. I am actually in love with this phone (ok not really, but you get what I mean :)). It is very big, but wow that screen is just incredible. And I find that the smoothed off edges actually make it manageable for my use. I have fairly large hands which helps though. I held my old 5 again last night and I cannot believe how different it was. I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to a smaller screen than what I have at the moment :O

If anyone is in doubt, go big or go home (6+ all the way!). That's my 2c at least.

I just walked into the istore at Cresta mall and had a look at the 6+. I am very happy I chose the 6 because the + is just waaaay to big for me. It's a beautiful phone no doubt, but I could barely hold it in my hands. I have small hands ;)

You know what they say about people with small hands?....they have small phones ;)

The + is big and does take some getting use too, but my logic for going the + route was it fits in nicely between the phone and Macbook without having to carry another device like a tablet. I do find my belly coming into play a lot more now as an extra appendage, evolution of man I guess.

It took me a short while to get used to it, but I don't think I'd ever go back. As for hand size... No comment :p

Yip - freedom all the way, screw the long term commitment. Bought iPhone 6 cash (after 6+ return) , and now just waiting for my rip-off Cell C contract to end in Dec before I start roaming between best deals (Telkom Mobile currently getting my attention)..

Was blown away by the amount of people swiping plastic and buying the 6 / 6+ at the V & A Waterfront iStore on Saturday AM..impressive!!

I went with the 6+ 64gb on Vodacom. I got it at the Centurion iStore. Coming from a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, I felt the 6 was too small for my needs.

The only thing I am still getting used to on the iPhone is notifications, the rest is a welcome change.

Does anyone know if FNB have stock yet or will it be easier to go to an iStore and apply through them?

If someone has done it through iStore on FNB contract, what was all needed?

You need your ID only. They have a system linked to FNB, pulls all your details when applying. After applying, you will get an sms approving your application. Then go back to the store to collect the phone, I would advise you ask the person assisting you to check if they have stock of the device you looking for before applying.

I applied on Saturday, lady said there was stock. After about 10 minutes after applying I got an sms from FNB, went back to the store, I was told, there was no stock for the device I ordered, lady forgot to check stock. Now I am patiently waiting for them to contact me for collection as soon as they receive stock. I was promised Thursday afternoon.

Ye got the 6 today.. Thought I would take the 6+ at 1st but it just felt too big and clunky. 6 is nice though it's taking a little adjustment from the 5..
