Any major differences except that 3D touch thing?
I don't own any iOS devices so feel free to go into detail.

Quite a substantial difference especially if you into Jailbreaking. 2gb of ram vs 1, enhanced optical lens, more powerful CPU, more sturdy build.

I've have both and really the 6s just seems the more competent performer in all departments. A ton of jailbreak apps, tweaks and mods installed on both though so the extra ram and processing power is better utilized than it might be on a stock 6/6s. The differences may be less pronounced under normal circumstances. You'll probably find it to be 60/40 in favour of the s...

3D touch for those who are used to it and use it daily, is huge!! The fingerprint sensor on the s is insanely fast and sensitive, maybe too much so, you seldom have time to notice your lockscreen and you already in the homescreen.

Personally given the choice I would go s. How much extra do I feel the s is worth over the stock? About R2k. So in effect I would pay around R80-R100 extra a month on a contract and get the s. I think the cash price on the 6s is about R1k more than the 6 so a no brainer...

Cool. I'm not going the whole jail break route.

Had Windows Phone, bored of Android now.

Think it's time for iOS.

I can't speak for the 6, but the 6s is really a great phone. My wife has an SE (which is basically the 6s hardware in a 5 package, without 3D touch and the same front camera as the 6 I think) and I do actually miss the 3D touch and live photos when I work with her phone.

Live pictures with Motion Stills (the Google app) makes really cool gifs.

I have both. Other than 3d touch and the fingerprint unlock I can't think of anything in day to day use.

But when using the 6 I can feel these to features missing, because you tend to use them a lot without realizing how important it became to the experience.

I don't think you will regret your decision to go for the 6s

Nice phone, very fluid. Still getting used to the one Home key.

Any app recommendations?

They only come in 16gb and 64gb?

But yes the 6s is better because of the additional ram which is useful for browsing with multiple open tabs. Also the metal it's built with is much harder and doesn't scratch so easily.
After the 7 was released 16GB and 64GB models were replaced with a 32GB model.

I was promised an iTunes free experience lol.

Anyway to set a custom ringtone with going the whole PC/Mac route?

SwiftKey!

Remember you can also set the home key the unlock only with your print. That way if you lift up the phone you do not need to click the button, only touch it.

Another gesture I find useful is the 3D touch on the left edge to open until the app switcher.

Yeah brought over my SwiftKey settings from Android. Still weird that password input uses the system keyboard.

Thanks that gesture will make things easier.

I much prefer it that way. Never like the idea that Swiftkey sees me typing my password (and sometimes even remembers it).

Yes, on Android it is supposed to know that it is a password field and NOT save it but I found that it didn't work sometimes.

I got the the normal 6s, the phone is absolutely brilliant. Only issue is the battery is a real POS. I use my GPS a lot, my battery drops by 60% within an hour.

GPS on the iPhone is a hog... The phone gets extremely warm too.
