iPhone 6 vs 6s

I got the the normal 6s, the phone is absolutely brilliant. Only issue is the battery is a real POS. I use my GPS a lot, my battery drops by 60% within an hour.

GPS on the iPhone is a hog... The phone gets extremely warm too.

Have you tried Waze?

Not that hard. Open Garage Band > voice recorder > import song > export ringtone

Yeah, it's a bit of a grind. Given how popular custom ringtones are for most users, it should be easier to apply them.

Edit: one would expect it to be doable from the native music app.

Indeed,seeing as every other phone gives you that option surely Apple should be able to allow you to do that from music already on your phone?

A lot of what Apple do is copyright related. Well, at least that's the reason they give. Up to you whether you buy into it or not. Personally, I do.

SwiftKey!

Remember you can also set the home key the unlock only with your print. That way if you lift up the phone you do not need to click the button, only touch it.

Another gesture I find useful is the 3D touch on the left edge to open until the app switcher.

I prefer Google's Gboard.

SwiftKey on iphone is nowhere close to SwiftKey on Android.

What's so special about it?

For me the autocorrection is brilliant. It's properly smart & adaptive.

The fact you do quick Google searches within the kb & send that info in your text entering App.

Plus the swipe text entry works well also.

Interesting. I'm using SwiftKey and it's brought over my preferences from Android.

Not on my Iphone, used it on my old Android phone, but i doubt it will make a difference, is it not the GPS modem that's causing the battery drain rather than the Google maps?
