Yes, any leak now would see the vulnerability patched before the GM release.

Correct. They might release the JB a couple of days before 9.2.1 launches. That's if they confident in the release date. If Apple announces a release date for 9.2.1 and the jailbreak is ready for public consumption they might release 3 or 4 days before Apple's confirmed release date, safe in the knowledge that they haven't left Apple with enough time to patch the exploits used.

I reckon you right.

Disappointing the lack of love for JB on my BB considering...

Jailbreaking has become a major headache whereas it used to be mandatory. Now you lose official updates that are often quite nice for the ability to tweak things that already work perfectly well for the most part. Apple worked hard to mitigate the little annoyances of iOS and I think at this point stock is the best experience.

Same goes for Android except with Android you have to customize to get back to stock.

So what's the advantages of jailbreak?

Customization for one.

This, and speeding up older iPhones. I think it also allows more flexibility for using your iPhone for media storage and playback, but the last time I properly jailbroke was years ago.

If you have a modern iPhone, there's very little need to. Apps allow most of the flexibility one might want.

That's awesome. I do find my 6s a tad too bright in the dark, at least in the beginning coming from my 5s. Maybe this will help a bit.

iPhone 6s miles ahead of 2015 competition in Antutu's latest report

http://www.gsmarena.com/iphone_6s_m...ition_in_antutus_latest_report-news-16064.php

"Antutu has released its yearly chart for most powerful smartphones, this year including the iPhone 6s/6s Plus. The new benchmark version 6.0 now comes with iOS support for cross-platform performance comparison, and Apple's latest pair immediately steals the show.

Scoring north of 132K points, the iPhone 6s(Plus), as Antutu puts it (similar results from either device are implied), is the most powerful smartphone of 2015. It might have something to do with the inclusion of more thorough graphics testing in the new benchmark version, and Apple's A9 chip has the currently undisputed GPU king inside.

Closest to the iPhone 6s, but not really close per se, is the Huawei Mate 8, at almost 93K points. The Kirin 950 chip inside paired with a 1080p display makes for a strong performer. The conservative choice of resolution (FullHD, too) on the Meizu PRO 5 helps it pull ahead of Samsung's own flagships, where the Exynos 7420 has to deal with 78% more pixels.

The older-gen iPhone pair comes in sixth, inching ahead of the OnePlus 2, which is the highest-ranked Snapdragon 810 device. It's all Qualcomm's troubled high-end chip from then on, with the LeTV 1Pro, Xiaomi Note Pro and the Nexus 6P rounding up the chart."

Finally joining the 6s (Plus) guys

At the very last min decided to go with the Plus.

I just got it. 64gb; Silver.

Some pics. Opted for a Houdt cover...it's quality. R449. Official Apple cases starting at R849 onwards...ill pass.

Alongside my recently acquired Mini 2

As per an older post went with the 36 month option from MTN to keep my monthly costs lower.Took the 100 package & adds up to R449pm. They don't publicize that package on 6s Plus. They punt the 200 package for R559pm.

I'm coming from an iPhone 5. So 3 generations gap lol.

I'll report back in the coming days
