True, they don't matter that much when you have an optimised non fragmented OS.

Maybe you don't keep 20 tabs open, some people do. And as far as I can tell, this is GOOD news, including for me, who is actually looking at getting a 6 or 6S.

The 2gb story is s fairly big one as Jeff showed in his vid & will make a big difference if you are a heavy multitasker in Safari.

However how many people seriously open that *many* tabs.

So best I would describe is 1gb is "adequate" & 2gb is "impressive".

While 1gb was fine and adequate, I also believe that 2gb is going to open new doors to better multitasking and just general faster performance. The 6s is a beast of a phone. Puts every other phone on the market to shame. That's with a dual core and 2gb compared to octa core and 3 or 4gb ram. No other smartphone can compete against the 6s in terms of speed and performance. At the end of the day, that's all I really care about. Real world usage beats paper specs. I can't wait to get my 6s. Only 1 more month :)

One of the shareholders in my business is actually arriving back from the U.S next week Sunday and he might bring a few back with him. Won't matter to me because I won't be in the country :/

I'm getting the 128gb Space Grey 6s. I currently have the Silver iPhone 6 and want a change. Not a fan of the gold and rose gold colours.

To me it's as simple as 2Gb being obviously better (no ****,there's more of it) it doesn't suddenly mean that 1Gb is worse or no longer sufficient.
