Might that spell the end of iOS for you?![]()
Unlikely.
Might mean my next phone is a droid or some variant though.

So finding you a kief wallpaper probably isn't enough to keep you happy.

Love my wallpapers so more are always welcome.
I'm sure they'll be compatible with a new Sony Z7 or whatever it will by the time my upgrade cycle rolls by.![]()
What I know about JBing can be written on a postage stamp...
Curious though: once JBen, does it need to be maintained at all? Or is it set and forget? And are you limited in what apps you can run, or can AppStore apps still run as per normal? What about system stuff like iCloud and Photos etc?
No maintenance.
Cydia is the equivalent of the App Store for jail breakers. Everything on the phone runs as normal only with Cydia there is no vetting of apps and content is not limited to apps but mods, system altering software and tweaks. That's the big difference.
Traitor!
So your apps come via Cydia?
So no stock apps? And iCloud/handoff etc? Do they still work?
No time consumed fiddling.
Can be said for Apple products in general.
No maintenance.

Not entirely true, there are a number of apps that won't run on a jailbroken phone.
I'm assuming Cassidy was referring to native apps?
Yes - but also 3rd party. So some (many?) of them might not run on a JB phone/iPad?
I've personally not encountered it but there are a few documented examples of apps detecting jailbreak code which results in a non functioning app.
xCon?The ABSA app won't run and if you load up a previous version that does not have JB detection it forces an upgrade, so you're snookered.
