I came across an article regarding the #chipgate Samsung vs TSMC chips in the 6s phones. Interestingly they said that the TSMC consistently runs cooler than the Samsung chips, but I read on wikipedia that the Samsung chip is based on 14nm architecture and the TSMC chip is 16nm. I thought the closer the transistors the less power is wasted and less heat produced.

So the short is that iPhones 6s'es that have the TSMC chips have measurably better battery life than the Samsung based phones.

Yo dudes.

So not the biggest fan of iOS 3rd party keyboards. However Word Flow seems rather good.

Its climbing up in the App Store very fast as well.

Word flow is one of those rare, brilliant, out-of-the box ideas... love it.

Edit:
My only problem with it is that it's just not available locally yet.

My new keyboard, but i think it's causing some extra battery drain.

Same here. I used SwiftKey for a couple of days with massive battery drain. And iOS has the cheek to not include it in battery usage.

Tried out the keyboard but prefer stock so it's no longer in use

It took me ages to get used to stock after Swiftkey wouldn't play nicely with entering passwords on wifi hotspots.

I'm not going to even bother with another keyboard now.

Anybody dealt with the MTN high volume repair center? Will they issue an immediate replacement for iPhone if they can't resolve the issue?
My Taptic Engine appears to have gone haywire - from very silent vibrating to sounding like there's a screw loose in the phone when it vibrates.

They take about 3 days to evaluate and replace if faulty

Went yesterday and no technicians on Saturdays to do the assessment so I was told to come back Tuesday. I'm told the process will be as follows:
Assessment - takes 2hrs
If they find fault they will issue a swap out note provided no water damage is found etc etc
I'll have to then find an MTN store that has stock to issue the swap out
The above applies to devices that are inside of 6months old, if outside of 6months you get a refurbed unit.
