Why do you want a case? All that engineering and craftsmanship and you want to cover it in a plastic (or leather) case.

I hate cases! I don't buy a R20 000 phone to cover it in a +/-R500 plastic cover. I buy an experience and that involves hardware feel and software!

But each to his own we different!

Lol I'm picking on you..
Actually online sales have no impact on the stock in the stores. It's a seperate order and delivery process. That's why you can't walk in a store and claim your order there!

If there's no stock in the store it's because people physically walked in and bought the phones or that particular shop had low stock to begin with!
 
Apparently no stock of iPhone 7 Plus in Jet Black? Waited in the queue yesterday to be told that I could only get silver :(
 
Lol at silver.. silver is ok on the non plus model... too plain on the plus!
 
Pre-registered for an iPhone 7 plus 256gb on mtn website on the day they opened up the pre-registrations. No stock. So now the waiting game. Not impressed. All stores around me don't have stock either. No istores nearby either.

clearly you have never dropped you phone, or tried to re-sell one full one scratches :)

Yeah I don't drop it even on the rare occasion I do I would be sitting down on a couch.

But that's my problem.. imagine buying an iPhone for R20 000 and a year later sell it looking brand new to someone for R8000. If you gonna get it for that cheap it has to look used at least with scratches and few dents haa ha ..

It's almost like you "saving" it for the next buyer if you worry about scratching for resale :-)
 
I have a one or two spare iPhone 7 cAses coming in that I'll give away when they arrive. They are at customs already so if anyone wants to PM me it's theirs. $3 haha.

They were the best ones a few weeks ago considering how early it was.

People are crazy to spend more than R100 on cases. They literally cost a few brands to make.
 
istore Menlyn absolutely useless! They are holding onto phones and selling to cash buyers! So much for pre-ordering.

I found that with the Waterfall one too. People who were coming in to buy cash were basically given the red carpet. The test of us were cattle class. Pity it was like that.
 
If anyone is looking for a black plus 128gb, my preorder is coming on Monday. Shout before I send it back.
 
This is what I found out -

Cash stock and "Network" stock are totally different. Cash stock are owned by iStore and can be sold as cash, contract stock has to be supplied to the istore in order for contracts to be processed. So if the networks do not provide the units iStore cannot help you.

Thanks for the gesture Sean. Will wait till Monday though, going to raise a little hell!

I don't mind the wait, but don't send me an email saying phone is available to purchase in store and when I get there they only selling to cash buyers!

No worries, would be a bit sad if someone is wanting one and I send it back into the bottomless pit at core.
