Battery life for days. 7% down, over 1 hour of on screen time.

To preserve the new iPhones battery u shud keep topping it.

Don't let it dip below 80% for the first month then use it to 5%

Remember to roll up your left trouser leg and say "woza" 5 times when plugging it in.

So I attempted to apply my very first tempered glass screen protector to my new iPhone 7. Not a bad attempt but the very edges of the protector seems to not be sticking. Read online that it is called the halo effect and might be due to the slight rounding of the iPhone 7 screen at the edges. Guess I will have to live with it or look for a protector that can cope better.

Something like that will be a endless eritation for me, thanks for the warning, I'll stear away from glass screen protectors when I get mine.

So from what I read here contract upgrades through iStore now works different than before, there's a waiting period for approval. People who upgraded their Vodacom contracts at a iStore, how long did you have to wait for approval before you could get your iPhone 7?

Also, will the iStores give information about stock availability at a certain store over the phone, or are they sticky about it?

As far as I've been told by CORE, Vodacom stock has never been an issue. They just haven't been getting the volume they would like. MTN and Cell-C on the other hand have not been forthcoming.

I was very lucky to get a 7+. I was called by the Menlyn iStore and told that they had received two iPhone 7+'s, one with my name on it. Upgrading was painless.

A new MTN shipment supposedly arrived this week for those wanting MTN.

Ah ok so apart from the stock, the actual contract upgrade process is quick? I was under the impression that the actual contract upgrade bit takes quite a while, that iStore have to process it on Vodacom's system and the system takes a while as in sometimes hours to approve the upgrade.

Can't speak for Vodacom but MTN upgrade took about 10min. Actually got a SMS while is was waiting confirming the upgrade.

Is there a reason why a specific contact that's in my Google Contacts won't sync to my phone book on my phone?

Everything else is there, except this one. Why would that happen? Any thoughts?

have removed and resync'ed .... still doesn't work.

May I ask which protector this is?
Does the glass protector interfere with 3D touch in any way?

It is the iPhone 7 Tempered Glass Screen Protector by Celltalk. Bought it from Takealot for R120. 3D Touch still works fine with the protector installed.

Thanks for the feedback. I was looking at the Celltalk one, but will now steer clear.
Hope someone finds a brand that does not have this problem.

Hi guys, I've recently upgraded to the 7 from HTC One android. I love the phone but can't get past how much I hate the stock music player! The sound quality through earphones is low, and I can't customize the equalizer as I must only choose from preset settings.

I used to use Poweramp on android with preamp and customizable equalizer. What I've downloaded that seems to come close on the App Store is Equalizer+ and even that has a crappy interface. Can you guys recommend a good music player? I don't stream music so I don't need something like Spotify either.

I am busy looking for another one and will feedback here if I find something that fits properly.
