I ordered a few that have landed and are at customs. I'll sell them to you for R900 because that is what Vodafone would sell them for. Granted they were expensive ones at nearly $3 a pop.

Agreed. I do the same. If you don't mind the wait buying off Aliexpress is the way to go for these things.

I've upgraded to the beta now. Will monitor. So far the Bluetooth stays connected, and so does the wifi. /touch wood

I'm suspecting my home wifi problem was due to my old router. I was sitting next to my Android (which was busy streaming radio), the iphone dropped, and then so did the android. The Android reconnects, but not the iPhone.

Will see when I get home if there aren't too many devices connected, or remnants of old devices still there...

Sure. I'm not saying everything made in China is rubbish. But cheap cases are in the same bracket as 5m tape measures with built in FM radio and a torch :)
 
Some arsehole driving a peugeot by a vodaworld robot was sleeping and when I tried to drive past him he kept blocking me and pushing me onto on coming traffic.
