Yeah still don’t buy anything you say. Sorry, you just don’t sound legit to me but anyway. I know it’s been pictured in the wild, very very few lucky people managed to get their hands on it. You haven’t.

Perhaps part of a bigger point is that people don't have to get a new phone every year? Would maybe go some way in addressing the 'not worth it! nothing new' refrain (which obviously isn't true anyway).

Many people can and want to, and that's fine, of course.

I mean, it should be obvious that phones are iterative, not constantly revolutionary re-designs.

I bought Note 8 which I am unboxing this morning.
Light years ahead of my iPhone 7 / 8 and upcoming X. iPhone X won’t be much different to the 8.
 
I don't see a lot of people running out to get the 8 and 8 plus, in comparison last year with the 7 launch locally things were a lot different. I guess we are seeing the same trend locally as is the case internationally, everyone's waiting for the X.
 
Bought my wife a 7plus beginning of year...
Just took her upgrade and took the 8plus.

Upgrade was due, i needed a better phn.

From a 7, in my opinion very little difference.

I got black but in high sight should have taken the gold for my wife and just taken her 7 plus.

My contract just ran out so on pay as you go. Will see if i like the x , il upgrade it to a x
 
Pre-ordered my #iPhone8Plus 256 silver and got it delivered by @MyiStoreSA at 11:30 on Friday 20 Oct 2017. Unboxing was so exiting! What an awesome phone! I've converted from Samsung Galaxy S8 to iPhone8+ and will never go back! Will strongly recommend it! Don't wait for iphone X. Tech is too new and not matured

I was thinking i should try iOS to see if i should make a move to the iPhone X.

Got my wifes iPhone6S+ out, set it up, ya fine, few annoyances like you cant arrange your icons where you want? it just auto arranges to the end....
No back button at the bottom of the phone or on the screen. that is not good on this sized phone, i can hardly reach the middle of the screen with 1 hand.

I then came to the conclusion that:
That iPhone+ is one of the worst sized phones i've ever used. I can land an aeroplane on those bezels, its fken huge, its heavy, my hand started cramping after using it for 10 mintues. Played with it for 20 minutes in total and went back to my S7 Edge, i have no interest in that thing purely due to its size.

At least the X will be more managable.

-- 3 days to Pre-Order ......... to pre-order or not to pre-order that is the question.
