iPhone 8 & iPhone X Thread

So more importantly than all this new phone nonsense...when can we expect the discounts on the old phones to filter through to SA?

Or do they first want to clear all existing stock?
 
I just placed my order for iPhone X 256GB (cash) from iStore. They said people placing pre-orders now will get on the next shipment. I’m hoping they see my order for cash and rather give it to me now and let a contract upgrade wait but that’s just hopeful wishing.

Was going to wait till Friday and take a chance at other stores but doubt they will have stock to buy (that’s not reserved) till the new year.
 
As far as I'm aware they only accept cash orders at this stage, and contract order from the 24th..

Really? Did not know that.

But thinking about it, I didn’t see any option of taking pre-order for contract on iStore site so you probably correct.

There goes that hope. Hopefully second shipment comes sooner than mid December.
 
Had mine for several days. Big jump over the s7 edge I had previously.

Haven’t gotten the cellular working on the watch...At& issue and they are working on it. But have done some calls with Bluetooth

Really like the scribble on the watch to send short sms

Agreed. They’re offering very good deals, and there’s not fluff on the contract, it’s just the device cost and a normal data package.

Got my 8+ through them. The free landline calls and and 10Gb free music streaming is very useful.
