I need this explained in a bit more clear details, so far what im hearing I would've expected... WiFi doesn't rely on a simcard to work?
The WiFi means you can do Mail and Safari without a phone connection.”
That would be the iPod - this is the iPhone being discussed.Or was Apple idiotic enough to lock the phone to a network and force you to have a phone connection to do anything? I know some phones don't even want to turn on without a simcard, would be stupid for Apple to require that on a glorified-MP3 player though....
Yeah, so how exactly is this guy getting the free Wi-Fi? hehe I must be a real idiot not to figure this out.
That was my above statement, Wi-Fi doesnt require a simcard.. so why he is so on about free wi-fi?
lemme try explain.
you now have the next generation 8gb, touchscreen video ipod. with built in wifi for getting your music etc. for $600.
taadaa.
i'm also missing something. Where is he getting the Wi-Fi ? Surely not from a cellphone tower?.
We all know restaurants/airports with hot-spots tend to provide free/cheap Wi-Fi anyway, but you have to actually go there.
In short: This is like saying "I can get free BLUETOOTH!!! whoopeee" .......huh?
Well that's what WIFI >>IS<< for all devices??...*boggle* I don't need a phone connection on my laptop either and i can do mail and safari too...

Well they tried to include a root-kit but Sony had already called dibs on that.
Shame is the phone that bad that the best thing he could come up with was free wifi? lol shame man.
They've really lowered the bar thereSo now you're considered a hacker because you can change the sim card in your iphone??
