Iphone Losing Data Connection when leaving wifi

Hi Readers

it seems many people have been affected by the latest iphone update on vodacom whereby if you are using wifi for data and then leave the wifi, the mobile phone loses data connection and then requires one to active and then deactivate airplane mode to get the connection back . Is there a fix for this ?

YES ... my wife's iPhone 8 Plus is doing the exact same thing, and I can't find a proper solution to the problem

Since the latest 12.0 software release

Have not experienced this issue. I am on iOS 12.0.1.

Also haven't experienced it.

But I would try putting Wi-Fi Assist on if it's off and off if it's on.

There is a beta fix covering a WiFi issue but I am not sure if it is exactly the same issue. It involves generation X devices only.

Here is a solution which seems to be working so far (been a short while )
Go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings
