Iphone USA / UK Difference ??

Well im looking to buy a iphone and found a seller, now he says the iphone is from the UK

nw i know there wont be a hardware change from the UK to USA but package contents ? will there be any ? i heard that UK comes with a pouch or something ?

Help would be awesome im fetching my baby on FRIDAY !!!!!!!!!!!!! cant wait, going through google like crazy to see the differences between a fake iphone and original one so any hints will be appreciated

There are big differences between the UK and USA iPhones..

UK is the one you want. USA Phones are network locked (as I understand it) and its a mission to unlock them.

Both are Factory network locked. Both support edge. No difference.

Try get hold of a factory unlocked one from a country such as SA. UAE, France etc.

You can unlock factory locked but factory unlocked is better if you can get hold of one. One such reason is the lack of push for factory locked iPhones that have been software unlocked .

also if you are buying from eBay or the likes, speak to fanix here on the forum as he managed to get himself a factory unlocked iPhone from eBay. Maybe he could give you the sellers details.

Both are Factory network locked.

Just a bit of info to muddy the waters

As of the 10th of November o2 in the UK have started to unlock their iPhones on request so it is possible for a UK iPhone to be sold as factory unlocked.

Stupid as it sounds, they still sell them locked, but will unlock it from day 1 on request.
