iPhone Users are delusional, consultants say

Pretty vrot if you ask me

true, the source article is dated - and if i am correct, the new iphone does do some of the stuff eg mms...

but that being said, as my contract is coming up for renewal...i have narrowed it down to the hero and ....the iphone

Hehe, maybe you should post this in the "iPhone sub-section" on the forum, we don't like mixing with the local nokia & other useless phone fanbois...

Bwahahaha

Lol let's hope you don't end up regretting it.

But i have never heard and iPhone user complain about it, most likely the useful features makes up for what it lacks.

But i for one am a true Nokia user, i believe they make the best phones out there...

Have you seen the things you can do to a 3310 and it still works?:wtf:

Lol but yes, enjoy your iPhone.

you are right - i also have never heard of a iphone user complaining (i actually found a real life 1 year old iphone user and he still is impressed with it - go figure) i would be bored after year with any phone....

I say the wait is worth it.

I guess the only people who could live with an iPhone would be the people that find it's (useless) tools very useful.

And honestly the iPhone looks disgusting, the menu is so full and ugly. I hate the sight of it, it's just very vrot

Mod_note: o/t posts removed. Please cuddle elsewhere ;)

I bet those consultants don’t have the iPhone and that’s why they won’t realise how great it is and are just jealous of everyone that does have one

I've never understood this argument. The iPhone is a product. This product can be freely bought by anyone. It is not genetic intelligence or good looks. It is not the girl you can never have. It is available at the shops. Why would someone be jealous? If they really wanted it they could just go out and get it.

"Many people I know are frightfully attached to their iPhones. They treat them as if they were a peculiar and exotic lover, one they can hardly believe they have managed to seduce.

The finely calibrated minds at Strand Consult have taken this analysis to a particularly simple conclusion: iPhone users are, the consultants say, really quite nuts."

This may just explain the rationale ....:D;)

Now lets see who came to this conclusions.

CONSULTANTS

What is a CON - A confidence trick or confidence game (also known as a bunko, con, flim flam, gaffle, grift, hustle, scam, scheme, swindle or bamboozle) is an attempt to defraud a person or group by gaining their confidence. The victim is known as the mark, the trickster is called a confidence man, con man, or con artist, and any accomplices are known as shills. Confidence men exploit human characteristics such as greed and dishonesty, and have victimized individuals from all walks of life. (re Wiki)

CONSULTANTS
A consultant (from the Latin consultare means "to discuss" from which we also derive words such as consul and counsel) is a professional who provides advice in a particular area of expertise such as management, accountancy, the environment, entertainment, technology, law (tax law, in particular), human resources, marketing, medicine, finance, life management, economics, public affairs, communication, engineering, sound system design, graphic design, or waste management.

A consultant is usually an expert or a professional in a specific field and has a wide knowledge of the subject matter. A consultant usually works for a consultancy firm or is self-employed, and engages with multiple and changing clients. Thus, clients have access to deeper levels of expertise than would be feasible for them to retain in-house, and may purchase only as much service from the outside consultant as desired. It is generally accepted good corporate governance to hire consultants as a check to the Principal-Agent problem (re Wiki)

Who says that these "CONSULTANTS" were not hired by the competition that is feeling the pinch of the invasion that is Apple iPhone:love:. The most innovative smart phone to hit the market since the inception of the "SMARTPHONE"

If we iPhone users are so delusional why is every new smart phone compared to the iPhone. e.g. HTC how does it compare to the iPhone to mention but one. Apple iPhone:love: is the benchmark. So get all the consultants in let them do all the analysis they want. We iPhone users know why we use and love out iPhones:love:. I would like to know what mobile phone those so called CONsultants are using :D

Very biased article, I won't take it seriously.

iPhone haters are the delusional ones I'm afraid to say.

My wife's about to become delusional as I buy her a new iPhone 3GS for her birthday.

There are only 2 x types of phones out there today: iPhones & iPhone Clones. Just give credit where credit's due.
