I had a nokia, bliss is not the word I'd describe it with... rhymes with curd.

But seriously, the iphone is aimed at a demographic, I am part of their demographic, when apple released the ipod I begged for an ipod with phone capability as did others and apple released it many years later, Apple did not disappoint, nokia tries to satisfy everyone and create different phones for different demographics yet some people prefer samsung, motororola, sony, HTC etc...

If the iphone does not interest you then just accept that Apple does not care about your demographic and move on :p

but seriously, if you like iPhone, so be it, i prefer Nokia, it's comfy and has everything I require.

There are indeed many similarities between the Stockholm Syndrome http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_syndrome and what we have taken the liberty to start calling the “iPhone Syndrome” - and if you are one of the many other phone manufacturers: Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, LG, HTC etc., you will most probably be very envious of the euphoria that Apple has invoked in their customers.

Let me see... choose between being held hostage or an iphone.. tough choice. :wtf:
 
Why do people always say Apple fans or iPhone fans have Stockholm syndrome or are zombies or whatever.

People have their preferences.
 
Apple's strength is and always has been design (in the broadest sense, particularly engineering). They've produced a few dud products over the years, but the strength of their design has endured, although it's often taken many years for this excellent engineering to translate into popularity (Mac OS X is a good example). Apple design (especially in the case of the iPhone, but equally for Macs) is aimed at making something that works as you expect it to, and doesn't let you down. Added to this is the fact that, over time, people's experience with Apple products tends to get better and better (with few exceptions), and this consistency, and very real improvement over time (which appears to be rare in the consumer electronics market, from PCs to smart phones), is what leads to the fanboy syndrome.
 
the iphone is a pretty phone. to me, form follows function and i'd prefer a demon of a technical phone instead. but then again if someone offered me a free iphone i won't say no.

And this is defintely not about the iPhone itself, it's about it's delusional users.
