I think there are 2 big differences between IPL and international outings. The first is that the quality of bowling they face in IPL isn't always going to be in the same league as international opponents. The other, for me, is that there probably isn't the same pressure of an international match. Yeah, they play for big dollars and they're expected to perform. It just isn't the same though. Look at the players in the field, particularly the international players. Most of them, most of the time, are smiling and are genuinely enjoying themselves.
 
it was a joy to watch AB, Hash and Maxwell.

one ground 3 different styles. very enjoyable to watch.
my superbru suffered.
I was kind of counting on Gale playing for RCB, and leaving him out against his favourite opposition might have been a mistake. Gale should have been opening wiht AB, AB should have been captain, and Watson should have been dropped.

the shot of the game for me was that 6 AB hit when he lost his balance, that was just insane.

I have a deal with the wife.
she can tell me I am watching too much cricket and I will stop.
the only exceptions:
if Faf/tahir is playing.
if Hash/Miller is playing.
if AB/Gale/Shamsi is playing.
if KG is playing
if DJ Bravo is playing.

she wrote down the list. looked up the teams and made a note of them.
yesterday in the car she complained that I have watched every game (I missed Saturdays games)
so I agreed that because it is only Tahir playing tonight I will miss the game. this made her sad, because she likes Faf and wants to watch him. I dont see him getting a game this IPL unless SRH do not play Zampa or Tahir.

I am worried to be leading so soon , I suspect Superbru is like long distance running where the person leading in the beginning never wins, wish you all would pick winning teams , out of the pools I am in I am only leading in Mybroadband and Mygaming :whistle:

Quinton De Kock ruled out of IPL 2017, but will play third Test vs New Zealand
South Africa’s Quinton de Kock has been ruled out of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season owing to an injury to the index finger on his right hand.

The move comes despite the Proteas star being declared fit to play against New Zealand in the third Test in Hamilton after passing a late fitness test on Friday.

De Kock will, however, start the recovery process for his injury following the third Test in order to be fully fit for the ICC Champions Trophy in the summer, meaning he will have to give the IPL season a miss.

Yeah dropping Gayle is crazy. However looks like RCB want to focus on their bowling this time which has always been their weak point so they're going with two international bowlers. So one of Watson, AB or Gayle has to be dropped.
