IPL 2017

I got 2 right :erm:

We are in the presence of a greater one :p

Nathan Coulter-Nile, who was struck on the head, while batting, has gone off the field, presumably to get more treatment. He was really struggling in the last over

I hope he's going to be all good. It was a snorter that struck him fairly square on the grill. That sort of blow could easily be concussion.

Tripathi was on fire tonight. Easily MoM.

Woakes had a superb spell with the ball 4-0-18-3. But for him, the contest would have been over much earlier.

Edit: I suppose that Coulter-Nile being dealt a vicious blow while batting didn't help the KKR cause. His 3 over spell was expensive. But it is what it is. RPS made it count!

What a knock by pant there. He deserved a 100.

Dd missing Morris here

Missed the game tonight. Power outage now approaching 24 hours. Air tog  and it must have been a great contest with plenty of runs too.

I dont want to make you feel bad or anything, but it was the most exiting game of the IPL so far in my opinion.
first 7 overs DD sucked in the field, and looked like they had given up on life never mind the game.
then out of nowhere, boom they were on fire. fielding like champions.
add to that Riana batting beautifully, and that third wicket partnership being a joy to watch.

going inot the innings break, I was sure I predicted wrong and that GL would win.
then wickets fell and my hope sank lower.
then out of nowhere again Pant leveled up. 4 boundries an over became the norm. 6 so often you were not sure if you were seeing a replay or live.
from 209 needed off 120 to winning with balls spare, even after the wickets fell.

I don't feel bad any longer. Utterly miserable, yes. Definitely not bad ;)
