Yeah ridiculous new rule from the IPL. Apparently to stop foreign players only entering the smaller auctions were the pay is bigger.
Cap doesn't apply to Indian players.
Rest of the fee go into "player welfare fund".
 
Nadine De Klerk just put up a masterclass in the woman's Ipl, basically won the game on her own. Was given a few chances in the 2nd last over but getting 18 of 4 balls is amazing stuff.

Game was lost by RCB and Nadine looked like she was struggling but managed to pull out a last over master class and pulled of a smash and grab on note. Very well played!!!
 
Actually, excited for the IPL to start again. This might be a controversial statement, but I didn't like the T20 series the Proteas had with NZL. I don't know it was very chilled. Maybe because of IPL I expect a spectacle, but it was a bit boring. Sorry to say that but yeah.
 
That catch looked very suspicious. How did he not touch the rope there. Hmmm
