Proper knock from Ricks. Was great to watch, even though he didn't get to his ton.
 
Brevis regrettably (for CSK's sake anyway) ruled out of today's game with a side strain. Not sure how long he is sidelined for.
 
What a ball from Burger, hopefully he can build some form this IPL looked a real threat a few years ago.

Still a threat just a matter of whether he can actually stay fit. Been the case for a long time.

10:58pm The two captains are having a chat with the two on-field umpires and the fourth umpire. And the captains shake hands now. The game has been called off. Ah, what a shame. This was shaping up to be a nice contest, and a match where both teams would have wanted those two points. But in the end, both get a point apiece and KKR, by virtue of that, are off the mark this season. PBKS, meanwhile, reclaim their place at the top of the table.

Rain shortened game between RR and MI. 11 overs a side. I backed the losing team again on SuperBru. RR set up a challenging total and MI fell short.
 
David Miller almost carved out a victory from nowhere. In hindsight, had he taken the run off the second last ball, DC would have ensured a super over and the opportunity of sniping a single off the last ball for a win.

But like @cavedog said, what an amazing game :)
 
Just looking at the batting and bowling stats and a few SAFFA's doing fairly well in both batting and bowling. Just checked best average for both batsmen and bowlers and there where 5 SA names I recognized in the top 20 list, mostly in the middle of that list.

Yeah should have taken it but the wide running from Yadav was rookie especially for an experienced player...
 
Another humdinger of a game between RCB & RR. It was a team performance by RR, but the youngster made a real difference for RR. Looking forward to tomorrow's offerings.

That kid is a cheat mode. Good grief, but imagine how good he'll be when he is 18? Beggars belief!
