I'm quite excited about this, having many of the world's best players competing in the same teams. :)

MS Dhoni (US$ 1.5 million), but Jacques Kallis (US$ 900,000)? Something weird there!

But yeah it looks good

not really highflyer

kallis is a boring oke 80% of the time

dhoni smashes the ball to every end of the park

Dhoni $1.5 meellion, Gilchrist $700 000: don't think they're only taking batting/wicketkeeping skills into account though. ;)

BTW, the "icon" players get 115% of the highest salary in their team. For example, at Mumbai Tendulkar will get 1.15*975000 = $1.12 million.

Theres two ways of being an icon in India, Play cricket for the national team or a Bollywood actor... Dhonis 3/4 cricket player and 1/4 actor... :)

Albie and Shaun going for more the Smithers ....

That had to bruise :D
Everyone went for more than Biff, except AB :D

Yeah I guess that the Indian players would get more because of their status in India. In that case I would say that Kallis' $900k is a very healthy offer for an international player. IIRC Rhodes was very highly regarded in India during his playing days as well, so his salary would certainly have been up there if he were still playing.

Muttiah Muralitharan (US$ 600,00)

lol .... thought the world's leading test wicket taker would go for a bit more.

$600 ?

Yes... i know it's prolly a typo

EDIT: Might want to highlight Boucher as well ... same team as Kallis.

Hyderabad :

Adam Gilchrist, Andrew Symonds, Herschelle Gibbs, Shahid Afridi

Quite the attacking line up aint it ;)

But it's for 20/20 cricket, how effective is Murali in that form? Interesting the premium that is put on all-rounders (except Styris:D).

Can't wait to watch a team that has Adam Gilchrist, Symonds, Gibbs, Shahid Afridi, Styris, Laxman, Sharma and Silva. :)

McCullum going for more than Ponting? How do they figure that one out?

Ponting on his worst day is more destructive than McCullum on his best one.:D

Ishant Sharma (that weird looking kid who bowls fast) just got $950 000.

Look at this team:

Each team has only x amount of money to bid with, so by the end the bids would be lower.
