I am planning to go to the games on 30 April and 12 May plus the semi. So if anybody else is going we could organize a meetup.

Thats plain stupid on their part.

Not sure but my guess is that it could be a weather concern. JHB and Centurion should be high & dry during the IPL since weather was a factor in SA having been chosen as a final destination. A lot of foreigners could be PO'd if games are rained out.

Again, just my guess.

O ffs I will not be able to stay till to late, forgot I am leaving the next day for a weekend away :/ But will still be there to braai and have a beer or 6.

with my experiences the DD is usually 10x drunker then the people who he should take home.

I already explained this to you guys. The semi's and finals clash with comrades weekend hence why Durban doesn't get a semi or the final. Ideally they would have liked to give Durban at least a semi. Durban has 16 games and Centurion 12, those are the preferred venues of the organisers because they have large indian bases according to their research.
