I just got this iPod from some1. I want to know how do i actually remove the songs from it? There are a whole lot of songs on this thing, but its really not my taste. I installed itunes - it detects it but all the songs seems to be "grey" - you cant select it, highlight it, nothing. Im sure this thing isnt this dificult to use? Is it just me? Ive never been an apple fan and now i can see why! no hard feelings to all the ipod fans!!!;) Its my 1st one
please help

Look for the 'restore' feature in itunes when you plug it in.

Either that, or you could set iTunes to sync with a particular folder. Then when your iPod is connected, you modify the contents of that folder and it reflects on the iPod

OR

When you select the iPod in iTunes, it will open up a screen on the right hand side. Make sure the tab labelled summary is selected. That screen is divided into three parts - iPod, version and options. In options make sure 'manage music manually' is selected and you should be able to delete unwanted music by right-clicking on the song(s) and selecting delete.

This is a not so helpful feature of the newer versions of iTunes. Don't give up on the iPod because of the software :)
