before the war there was relative calm between the 2 schools of thought even mixed neighborhoods(shia/sunni neighbourhood) even while did have their differences - no tension

LOL, so all of a sudden they decided that the time is ripe to start taking out the other party (sunni/shia).

These battles between the two Muslim groups existed and continue to exist without the link to a specific "war".

I've seen it in Pakistan where one group paraded the streets flagellating themselves (great practice - should use sharper implements), while the other group sniped them from the buildings.

What I want to know is when these folk, both sides, are going to give up killing their own people and decide to be civilised and have a dialogue or vote on the issues that they have, like the rest of the normal world. Even us here in Darkest Africa, managed to vote our way out of trouble, what is up with those Muslims, don't that have skills any better than the run of the mill South African?

One thing that always make me smile, how Muslims always use argument from authority in their points, they take two or three lines to explain the pedigree of the person that they are quoting. What do they think that the quote is so weak it needs backing up like that.

Yeah there customs are backwards, but you will be hard to find someone on this forum let alone in the country who can even begin to apply any sort of reasoning or justification for it so it's a pretty pointless asking for it.

am I not trying to be reasonable with all forumites in discriminate of your religious background or lack there of
