I'm not sure who you're talking about, but at least we've established that muslims are not the source of all the world's ills. Now we can look back at South Africa, and I ask, what trouble is the muslims population causing here? I certainly haven't heard of anything. Clearly your claim that wherever there are muslims there is instability is false.

I did a check and I found that they haven't been accused of any violence since 2002.

Hell, I wish every other problem we're facing in this country was as bad as PAGAD :cool:, maybe that way we could sleep soundly at night. :p

If you actually do some reseach you will see that Muslims are behind just about every problem in the world.

Pagad were doing much the same things that Mandela, Tambo, and all the rest of the terrorists were doing. =====>> Chucking bombs at civilians.
A former Pagad activist was caught only recently with pipe bombs in his boot. He had a history of such acts.
If you want to downplay activities such as that then I would question your honesty.

That's taking it a bit to far, I would sleep much more soundly without such organisations, my Dad came close to a pipe bomb blast in 2000, luckily my Dad left before it went off.

Downplay? It's been 5 years since the police last suspected PAGAD of any violent act. Ergo, PAGAD has been silent for the last 5 years. I really do wish that all our other problems were like that. I mean, can you imagine what it would be like if the last corruption scandal in government last happened 5 years ago?

I wasn't able to find a solid number, but the CIA world fact book states that 1.5% of the country's population are muslims. Considering that the population estimates are 44-47 million, that means that there's about 650 000 muslims in the country. A few pipe bombs is hardly evidence of widespread militancy or fundamentalism among the muslim community here.

So the real question here is : exactly what do you think I'm downplaying here?

So you're are saying that the Apartheid Government had every right to kidnap and murder(among things) as many Blacks as they wanted, and not expect the ANC(of that time) to respond with violence?
 
What about all the muslims here who are funding Al Q ? You think it was just those 2 idiots from Fordsburg? Wait and see how many of them are involved. This gvt just turns a blind eye. What a pathetic and laughable list. Where's the stuff that goes on inside Saudi-Arabia? Where's the stuff that's happening in Chechnya? Added to that the explanations of the various conflicts are "interesting" to say the least.

But that's it? A list of 13 countries among 170-odd? That's not even 10%. Yeah, compelling evidence that muslims are the cause of all the trouble in the world :rolleyes:

Saw something on BBC this morning about Iran- they will make a big announcement in April about their nuclear program/capability...?
