As much as I hate evetech I can't deny that is a good price.

I am looking for a 32 inch 1440p 144hz

But I currently have a 4k 60hz 27 inch display and I wonder if this is a good screen or if going down to 1440p would bother me?

I cannot afford or run a 4k panel above 60hz anyways so idk

I have a 3080 but it crippled by games like cyberpunk and Warhammer

3080 should be able to play 4K cyberpunk... what CPU are you running?

I have a 27" 1440P display which is beautiful. Not sure how good it would look stretched to 32", maybe someone else here has one and can comment.

Also, never buy Evetech.

Edit: That screen is also only 350 nits, that's not very bright.

Is 144hz worth it?
Yes, it is.
Even though I usually only get around 90-100fps on most games.
For my 1080Ti, it is more like 50fps at 4K vs 100fps on 1440p, and definitely worth it. For the one game I've played at locked 144fps, Prey, the smoothness is amazing. When I play a game and for some reason my display frequency is for some reason set to 60hz, I almost immediately notice it.

I had a Mecer 32" 1440p panel, then got the 27" Dell S2721DGFA 1440p. I also have a 27" 4K Dell P2715Q.
The pixel density is obviously worse on the 32", but I don't think it really matters for most games. Switching between the 32" Mecer and the 4K monitor was night and day, but only really noticeable for slower games like RTS.

Switching between the 32" and 27" 1440p monitors, there is obviously also a difference, but I move my 32" monitor more than an arms length back anyway, so it doesn't bother me when playing fps games.
It was very noticeable with text though. I won't buy a 1440p 32" monitor again, partly due to the dot pitch, and partly because I find 32" too big for fast paced gaming at desktop distances, probably due to my aging eyes.

Snap, I also have the S2721DGFA. Mine's capped at 165hz, but that's on COD BO Cold War. Thing is, I haven't tried it on non-FPS games yet, so not really sure what the benefits a high refresh rate would have in something like an RTS.

144HZ is undoubtfully worth it. I cant speak for >144hz but the upgrade from 60 to 144 its huge and you can really see the difference.

No. 200hz is better.

I would agree here, 27" @1440p is the sweetspot for sitting up close like gaming. I have an Asus 165hz 27" @1440p. Magnificent, clear concise movement (COD MW) - Uninstalled BO CW, blehhh
You forgot to mention HDR and G-Sync ;)

I prefer not to use HDR with my monitor, also yes it's G-Sync compatible, but I run an AMD 6800XT, so FreeSync
Really? I have mine enabled and have noticed a nice difference in some games.

Is 144hz worth it? Yes, it's saved my eyes a lot of grief and fatigue over the years. My eyes felt like they were exploding at the end of a day on my old 75hz monitor.

Don't buy from Evetech. I was considering it and realised I'd rather save up and buy from a more trusted store.

32" 1440p is awesome, don't listen to the little screeners. I love running my Dell in 165hz with HDR.

I use the older version which is 144hz, really worth it.

1440p 144hz is just right.

Even Chrome is better in 144hz

Does refresh rate really matter when it comes to eye strain on LCD monitors?
I know it did in the CRT days, because that was the frequency that the screen was lit up. Lower refresh rates would cause noticeable flickering. With LCDs, the backlight and image is "on" the whole time, and it just changes at the frequency that the image is changed.
The exception are those monitors that use PWM for dimming, which effectively let the backlight flicker to make the display dimmer.

144hz is AMAZING

The first game i tried was Destiny 2. It blew my mind, the smoothness is something you can never turn back from

I think it is - I have a 27" Dell it's still only 1080p but damn I'm sure that's refresh rate that makes things look so crispy and defined. I can definitely see a difference and it feels better, less strenuous on my eye spheres.

Decent option I just don't want a curved monitor
