I am thankful to say that services are still restored and we are still monitoring.
 
Hi all,

We have picked up issues on the transit via Seacom. We have contacted Seacom and they have stated that they are observing fluctuations on the Midrand to JNB backbone ring isolating connectivity to Midrand, part of Nothern and Central ring

Hi all,

We are currently seeing degradation on transit via Seacom, we are currently contacting Seacom in regards to this.

We will post updates as soon as possible.
 
Seacom has stated that there is an issue with their core network and they have gotten their vendor involved and Seacom has also stated that there is planned maintenance on Sunday 03/12/2023 to resolve the issue.

Hi all,

A quick update to keep you in the loop. We are in the process of adding Liquid as a secondary transit provider to best mitigate issues similar to what we saw last week.

I'll post an update as soon as this has been completed.
 
Head of services at Seacom are investigating and we await feedback.

Seacom have confirmed that this is a major outage and we've seen reports from other Seacom clients complaining of the same.
