Last year I moved to Afrihost from Webafrica and all seemed to be great. There were the occasional timeouts on international sites but nothing too serious.
For the last 2 months or so it has detoriated to frustrating levels. Pages frequently time out (it took almost 10 minutes of refreshing to load this page), youtube rarely begins loading let alone playing and the speed is horrible (used to to download at 38kb/s now around 20-25kb/s).
Before I go blaming the ISP I was wondering if there was a way to test the actual line quality? What other tests can I do to try and determine the location of the problem.
