Is Apple stumbling?

Of course Apple is stumbling. Anyone who thinks otherwise isn't even looking. The new iPod Nano looks like a cheap Chinese product, the latest iPhone impressed no one, the iPads aren't progressing, iOS feels outdated, Apple TV uses an interface that was rejected by Steve Jobs, the new iMacs are hilariously impractical, they hardly ever keep their hardware and the prices current, and the iCloud has problems. That's just off the top of my head.

The iPhone still outsells everything placed before it and you think it impressed no one?

More Apple threads = more sweet sweet clicks for MyBB. It's getting a bit much don't you think?

ROFL!!

I was waiting for that. :)

And I was waiting for a response. :D

"Betteridge's law of headlines is an adage that states, "Any headline which ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no." The name refers to Ian Betteridge, a British technology journalist who primarily covers topics relating to Apple, although the general concept is much older. The observation has also been called "Davis' law" or just the "journalistic principle."" - wikipedia

A) Is Apple stumbling?
B) Has Apple lost its shine.

A) I think stumbling is a wrongful term to use because it makes it sound like people are at fault. If competitors are gaining marketshare it hardly means that Apple is doing any worse than before...it just means competitors are finally doing better.

B) Apple is sticking to the exact same business model of niche products using a very specific ethos of quality over quantity that they always have...this hasn't really changed.

If anything Apple is the exact same Apple it always has been, even without Steve Jobs...everything else is simply changing...like it always did before.

I agree, except from where I sit, I never saw apple shine. Their skill was always in convincing the most gullible and least tech savvy segment of the market that their products were competitive. They gained market share (and their stock market valuation) by marketing FUD to iDiots and image to posers.

Their marketing is slipping; their products are as **** as always were.
