Is Carte Blanche having problems?

Since the end of last year I have seen numerous repeats and international documentaries on Carte Blanche. They became known for investigative journalism in South Africa, but with so many repeats and little original local content it seems that something is wrong.

Any ideas as to what is happing at Carte Blanche?
 
No ideas rpm, but I don't watch it every Sunday. Was tonight's show a repeat? I saw it, but I hadn't seen it before ;)

Intriguing how that guy took a shortcut to create those bombs.
 
Maybe its just cost cutting? It does seem to have gone down lately though.
 
Carte Blanche should die a sudden death - they are no longer doing what they where mandated to do in the first place.

The Gold Reef city story a few years back showed that they are just looking for sensation and is not interested in the truth and they are not after the truth that matters to people.
 
tonights story was well worth the air time it recieved..

I've noticed that too. I'm tempted to cry conspiracy and say that someone behind the scenes is putting severe restrictions on the stories that make it to air.

It just seems like night and day. At one point, CB's high point imo, they were regularly catching people out, exposing corrupt goverment officials, etc. Now it just seems like someone has suddenly pulled the plug on that.
 
Now that you guys mention it, perhaps there is something afoot?
 
Naspers has also had to apply for a licence to broadcast DSTV lately, coincidence?
 
maybe the movie can start at 7pm when cb dies...then i can get tobed earlier on sundays :)
 
I personally like the overseas docies. SABC sure as hell ain't worth a damn for this stuff.

If only somebody had the guts to air BENEATH THE HALO...

Ha!...They must have studied at Boston Media House...Ahh..the worst service ever - if you have kids that want to study through them, its a waste of time!..
 
Last night documentary was a load of American propaganda anyway...

I miss the Indian women (name?) harassing people, she was absolutely great!
