Blah Blah Blah
I have 2 telkom accounts which was already a rip for 6GB of international but local was free, which why I needed ADSL mainly. Then they bend us over, rape us by hardcapping accounts. And the general public still say,"Please sir can I have sum More".
So when they introduced hardcap on local I had to get another connection which would supply that need for local bandwidth. My server is up 24/7 and has to be linked to the net.
So I thought bugger those telkom scum and decided to give the business to the opposition. Now that they have enough users they want to also ride on the gravy train?
As far as I understand IS have thier own local bandwidth infustructure, hence the uncapped local. If they now start doing what telscum have done, they are in for a rude awaking. I know of at least 20 ppl with IS accounts and they will cancel and so will I if the 30 GB Hardcap comes into play.
This is why the have become so successful since the Hardcap was introduced in the first place. If there is no service provider that can give the service we after, (Uncapped local) then why pay more for the same service when you can go to the devil (telkom) and pay a lesser rate??
IS better think carefully before their they implement They had a little rep when telkom was free local however their claim to glory was by sites like this one and Hellkom giving them praise on the scene about unlimited local bandwidth etc.......
Surely you guys dont think it was their fab. marketing?? *lol*

No, it was word of mouth.
Afterall that why we got ADSL so we can surf faster, download, play online and stream music, TV and movies..... 3GB was alot back in the stone ages, when computers were coming out with a 20GB Hard drive and that was ubber cool.. Now what the entry level when you buy a PC, 80GB.... Clearly programs, files movies etc are all getting bigger therefore the need for bigger storage and more GBs.......
Doesn’t take an Einstein to figure it out.
In closing, I suggest that IS upgrade their infustructure to meet the demand of people switching from Telkom to IS for the "free" Local bandwidth. Either that or risk losing all the business back to telkom... it your choice.... thats reality and it bites. There is no loyalty when it comes to money. I will (and I am sure most users) go for the better and cheaper option with the most benefits, bottom line. ADSL is expensive enough as it is... bottom line.
