IS Internationa down??

yep no international, Afrihost ADSL support is kak, i know not their fault but their techs need some training.
 
Afrihost techie says it's because IS is down? I thought they used Seacom and it was the reason international was slow and laggy the other day? :confused:
 
IS international down on Vitality Broadband. Longest 10 minutes downtime EVAR.

ADDITIONAL INFO:
Due to miscommunication, our international upstream service providers scheduled technical resources for Friday 10th (and not Thurs 9/02/12 as previously planned). We do apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

The scheduled change (INTL Access services between SA and London affected. Optimise backbone infrastructure. Service interruption < 4hrs) did not take place this morning.

Maintenance completed and IS are currently testing. ETA by 7AM scheduled to complete.

Still, longest ten minutes if seen in quite some time, would hate to see it when the expected duration is an hour or more...
 
I love the fact that there were about 7 posts about the outage within minutes of it happening at 1am and IS update their notices page at 7.53am....
I will always look here first..keep the posts going!
 
getting max speeds of 0.30-0.50Mb/s. fookin slow here on mweb from pta east.
