IS Internationa down??

1am and local seems fine but cant trace to international sites, stops at

196.26.0.181
196.26.0.182
and
196.26.0.62

time for bed anyway....

Im using IS in CPT

Just experiencing the same thing grrr. Must be some sort of maintenance. Tried with Saix account on afrihost and also no international on that either so its anyones guess.

Yep. I was playing BF3 and thought I'd just had one of the regular disconnects. All international down including the axxess site which I thought was hosted locally.

lame, same thing here in Pietermaritzburg running afrihost, and it happened in the middle of my league of legends game.
strange though that one of my teammates on uncapped mweb is still fine, I thought they used IS the same as the rest.

Edit: its back to normal here now it seems so either redundancy has kicked in or it wasn't anything major.

REASON FOR CHANGE: IS engineer to optimise international routing IS REFERENCE: CRQ9140

ADDITIONAL INFO:
Due to miscommunication, our international upstream service providers scheduled technical resources for Friday 10th (and not Thurs 9/02/12 as previously planned). We do apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

The scheduled change (INTL Access services between SA and London affected. Optimise backbone infrastructure. Service interruption < 4hrs) did not take place this morning.

Maintenance completed and IS are currently testing. ETA by 7AM scheduled to complete.

Thanks for the notification, inertia.

But it does beg the question, why don't they update their "network fully operational" notification at the top of their website. You'd think that clients would like to quickly check there if there are issues rather than having to trawl through the forums here.
