I was just wondering how the capping works. As i have around 300mb left of my international left. Currently on a 4mbit line. If i were to reset my session i "should" be able to have 24hours on international?

So say i have access to a ftp hosted internationally and am able to get 300kb/s+ constantly then would i be able to do around: 1gig for those 24hours? Thus almost 24gigs of international downloading done?

Yes, thats the nice thing. Works like that on SAIX account aswell. :)

IME, yes that's correct. 24 hours of uncapped-ness-bliss.

Yip. Hit it bwah !

Don't you get billed for the extra usage if you for example, exceed your 3GB with Web Africa?

(Not trying to say anything negative towards Web Africa, just seem to recall this, as it may be the same with other non-Telkom ISP's).

Well, this is on IS, and seeing though their news server is so kuk, they deserve to be internationally abused ;)

I havent been able to connect to the news servers since early yesterday! Given up now... Will wait till next month... Hopefully!

Now what about 1gig webafrica prepaid? Can i suck anything out of that one?

You'll get billed for any additional usage.

Edit: Assuming you can even get over 1GB

The 1gb prepaid counts down in real time as you use it. Iv got a 1gb prepaid and the thought crossed my mind aswell... But no...

Wow first time ive actually seen IS speeds ok. Just did 2 seperate speeds tests and both international download rates were 1mbit+!!!

so who wants to go halvies with me for an easynews account to rape international cap for the day?
