example: if a woman continuously tells a man that he's "a hopeless sack of bones" or that he would "never amount to anything" or that he is "useless". i'm not a man, so i don't know if men would regard this type of insults as destructive to their self image?
some guys who are in relationship with bitches, reckon that when the good times are good, it is REALLY aWeSoME but when it's bad, it is hell. so they stay for when the "good days" arrive.

Generally a relationship very rarely only has good times, if the good times out weigh the bad times then cool. When the bad times out weigh the good time to say cheers.

Nice guys do go to libraries, bookshops, etc. but they generally get ignored because a lot of women want nerds who are built like Mr. Westcoast finalists and refuse to compromise.

Personally, I like a girl with a bit of spirit, but not one who's bitchy. A lot of shy girls (and shy guys like myself) fit this category perfectly because they only show their "true selves" when alone with others they trust... but of course, when you're introverted, getting to that point is difficult.
 
Realistically the loudest guy/girl is going to attract the most attention. And then its just a numbers game...sooner or later he/she will find someone of the opposite sex who does not mind a loud & annoying partner.

I for one prefer a little bit of bitchiness. The attitude shows they can stand up for themselves which is my kind of woman. I don't like the submissive type...

I must agree with DJ... I see myself as a secure, arrogant and testing guy. I'd probably drive a nice, shy girl to either suicide, meth or chain smoking ;).

Honestly, between my friends and I, we dish out insults to each other and anyone in the circle without a care, and if the girl isn't bitchy to an extent and isn't able to come back then that wouldn't be ideal. Most shy girls also need guys that constantly pamper them, complement them and will treat them like princesses. this helps my cause stuff all because I've seldom buy my girlfriends gifts, I tease them, and I also try challenge them (I like having relationships where both parties are fighting for each others affection (but when the times right, it's a trews ;) ).

Also, I think you looking at it from the wrong age group. A lot of those shy and nice girls will get married, and will remain happily married. Just like how the nice guys tend to fail on the girl attraction scale, but do actually marry and settle down.

Furthermore, whats the point of just being in a relationship where you don't have to work for anything. When there's a challenge, or something like that, then you'll see guys will be more attracted to that women. Just like if a women saw a very good looking guy, and he turns out to always call you, always ask "are you alright", "is everything ok", and he always does what you ask him, you gonna lose interest very quickly.

besides, women are generally bitchy, especially those that are an extrovert. They usually get all the hot guys, I've seen it, but in the end these girls mean jack **** to the guys!


Also, being in a relationship where there is way too little drama is absolutely BORING, but dating a complete bitch is just asking for trouble.
