hmmm... ever since telkom upgraded the 1mbit guys to 4mbit the news servers have been blowing chunks, we bottom feeders, ie. 384 have been getting dog slow speeds. well, if you cant beat em, join em!

What really gets me is that there isn't an average speed for everyone. Some people cruise, other go along at 1Kb (and all the freakin timeouts)...tis not right.

What's the easiest way to apply for a telkomsa account? Do they activate the account instantly as well? I've had enough...

If i was a IS reseller and saw the view count for the 2 threads about the news server(1797 and 6133), i would start thinking that my customers are getting a bit pissed off???

Anybody knows what notice period for cancellation is for Imagine ISP? I've had enough of this.

They probably either also not getting any info or the info they getting isn't good, either way I dont think any IS Reseller wants to come in here and tell us that we have to lump it.

Has anyone tried connecting to the news servers with an account that still has international access...ie havent reach their 2 / 3 gig intl cap yet?

I have a sneaky suspicion that once u reach your cap, IS totally degrades your service, and that includes the news servers....

Btw.... they have been complety down and unusable for me since last week thursday..

Cause new.is.co.za im having trouble even connecting whilst news.isdsl.net just says remote server down...
