For the guys that are using a crack version of newsbin i think they have somehow done something so it does not download files... cuz i couldnt get alot of files with newsbin but they work fine in grabit..

I am using the trial version and it didn't work either.

Started using Newsleecher. I quite like it

But, sometimes when I add a .nzb file to download it just quickly goes down the list of files to download and removes them from the list and downloads none of them

thanks found it...now just need to figure out what to do with all the files

Download and use yEnc to decode them. Then in grabit right click on the is news server and click refresh grouplist, this will make it automaticly decode the file's from now on(its a glitch in grabit).

Yip seems to be, although it is possible to download off both servers simultaneously giving you 8 connections total.

after 3 weeks i seem to be getting decent speeds today. Thanks to all for helping out..grabit going well. does anyone know how often the group list on the news server should be refreshed?

news server is working amazingly well but i use grabit

pulled like 3.5 gig in the last 3 days maybe more

there is nothing better than grabit

Started downloading an episode this morning, and it was flying by me as well. Still some connection problems but loads better than last week.

Not even close. Sometimes 100, but mostly around 60 average.

I am the same. Some other have posted getting speeds of 400 kbs but i have never. Most i have seen is 150. Average around 60 -80.

5 days into the month and i've already gone thru 17g of my 30g cap... hmmm... dunno if that's a good thing tho, will prob have to fork out more cash for b/w next week already...

im thinking of changing to a 3 gig int account and buying 2 30 gig local

will be around the same cost as a 10 gig saol

use only your local for grabit and use your int for browsing
